Seattle Mariners consist of a professional American baseball group hailing from Seattle, Washington. They are a part of the West Division of American League and partakes in the Major League Baseball (MLB). They joined in with the American League back in 1977 as a team for expansion. They played their home games back in Kingdome from 1977 till 1999.

Their current ballpark since 1999 is T-Mobile Park in Seattle. Their name "Mariners" comes from the prominence of the culture of marine back in Seattle City. The organization of the group did not bag a winning team all until 1991, but they achieved their real success from 1995 onwards. The name of the franchise has remained the same since 1977, which is "Seattle Mariners."
