Jo Koy Comedian

Jo Koy Comedian had always known that he was going to be a comedian as he declares himself that "it was in my blood." He dropped out of "University of Nevada" to pursue a career in stand-up, and he has never looked ever since. With his Filipino heritage, he invokes that side of his culture to a lot of sketches, and people always come out of the theatre with a fresher perspective.

Jo Koy was actually a nickname given by his aunt, which means in Tagalog as "My." He never stopped using it, and Jo Koy Comedian has been known by that name ever since. His sincerity in everything he does is reflected in his humor and wit, and as he translates them in his work, people grow to love that quality. After every show, it is no surprise that people are looking to see more and more Jo Koy’s shows.
