Today, Queensryche is unquestionably one of the best heavy metal bands out there. Their gold-selling 1988 album, ‘Operation: Mindcrime’, is considered by many as ‘the greatest heavy metal concept albums of all time.’ The commercial success of ‘Operation: Mindcrime’ and ‘Empire’ helped the band to gain international recognition and received three Grammy nominations.
